On Friday night I had the privilege of going to the Intermountain Electrical Association's dinner. These people are amazing and every year they raise money for scholarships and they also sponsor someone. This year they chose to sponsor Skyler. I was able to go to the dinner with all my brothers and sisters (minus Jon) It was the first time we have all gotten together and gone somewhere in a long time. The dinner was really fancy and they even had our own table up at the front. My brother in law Todd (thank you Todd) got up and told everyone about Skyler's journey so far and what he still has ahead of him, and they also showed that video we made. I felt so honored to be there and was able to meet some amazing people. I cannot tell you how grateful I am that they would do this for us. It means so much to me. Throughout these past seven months my eyes have been opened to so much good that there is in this world, and at how many good people there are. And after experiencing a great night like this it makes me want to give back and be a better person. Thank you Intermountain Electrical Association, Children of the Earth, Hogs for Humanity, and Kim and TJ. And also thank you to my brothers and sisters for supporting me and coming with me.
Me and my awesome brothers and sisters. Love you guys!
Me with the President and future President of the IEA.

That is awesome! What a blessing. This cancer journey has a lot of ups and downs and this is one big UP. You and Skyler both deserve this. We are happy for you.
Beautiful post! Todd is definitely the sweetest soul I have ever known. You have such a wonderful support team. Cheers to you and Skyler for overcoming so many obstacles!
