Still NO fever again today!  This is how Skyler feels about that...

I still am in awe that he hasnt had a fever.  I made them get two different new thermometers to see if it was  real or not.  It was real.  Im so excited about this!  We are just that much closer to going home if he keeps this up.  The nurse even came in today and taught me how to do his feeds and push his meds through his feeding tube.  I have to admit its kinda fun.  Skyler will tell you a different story though.  He can feel the meds going into his nose because it is cold and really uncomfortable, he hates it.  I love that I am doing all his meds now.  I like to be in control of all this stuff.  Next they are going to teach me how to change his central line dressing (this has to be a sterile procedure) I basically already know how to do this because I have watched it being done so many times.  I will also have to learn how to give his IV anti-fungal medication through his central line.  That one is kinda scary but Im excited to learn.  I already know how to do all of his wound dressings because I have done that for weeks now.
They still havent told me a date on when they think we can go home because they want to see how his bone marrow looks on Tuesday, but Im hoping that it will be fairly soon.  He said to me today "I really wish this wasnt my home anymore,  I just want to be at my house again so I can play"  I was so happy that I could tell him that we might be able to go home pretty soon.  Please pray that nothing will happen to set us back again.

Here are just a couple funny faces that made me laugh..

YAY! YAY! YAY! I am so thankful he hasn't had a fever recently. Oh, this is joyous news!

The funny face pics are so silly. Thanks for sharing them.

You will (and probably already are) be the best nurse he has. Central line dressing changes are my least favorite thing because Erin kicks me and screams, "stop it, stop it, owee, owee" all through it.

I am so happy that "home" is becoming part of your vocabulary again.

I am so excited for you guys. I wish I could be there to see his face when he walks in the door to his house. Take lots of pictures! We will continue to pray that everything keeps going on the path they are now. NO FEVERS!!! I can not even imagine how you are feeling right now. Your own bed, sky's own bed and TOYS! I want to have a party the day you go home. We are mostly stuck at home and the word party to my kids is like saying we get to go to disney land (well almost). I can't wait.
